A Brownwood native, Harold graduated from BHS in ‘84 and attended Tarleton State University. He worked 15 years for Central Texas MHMR, 8 years for the city of Brownwood, 6 years for New Horizons, and is now in his sixth year in car sales for Bostick’s Auto and Truck Sales.
Harold has served on numerous board of directors, including: Greenleaf Cemetery, Red Cross, ROC Revitalizing Our Community, Brown County Home Solution for the homeless, Chamber of Commerce, Trustee for the Central Texas Foundation J.R. Beadel Foundation, and Brown County Republican party Precinct Chair 202-204. He is a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church where he serves as associate clergy. Harold is very involved in civic duties in his city and his favorite quote is: “Let No Man Pull You Low Enough To Hate Him.”
Daughter: Mashari S. Hogan
Professional: Owner of The Brow Studio, Austin, Texas
A Brownwood native, Mashari graduated from BHS in 2006. In 2010, Mashari graduated from Texas A&M, Corpus Christi with a degree in Communications and Public Relations. She did her internship with the semi-pro league IceRays hockey team, Corpus Christi; which led to her position as marketing director. She then went on to become marketing promotions for the Academy of Katy, Texas; and later as marketing manager for Pinot’s Palette Paint & Sip Wine & Painting Parties of Houston. She has been a guest on the live television ‘Great Day Show’.
Mashari is currently the proud owner of The Brow Studio in Austin, Texas. She serves on the board of directors for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Mashari is very outgoing and volunteers when she can. On her birthday in 2016, she assisted emergency agencies and Red Cross during the devastating Houston flood. Her favorite quote is “Emancipate yourselves from mental slavery. None but ourselves can free our minds.” -Bob Marley
